In accordance with our Articles of Association, our main association bodies are the General Assembly as the main decision-making body, the Executive Board as the executive body and special committees for specialised tasks. In day-to-day work, the bodies are presented as a clear organization chart.

Our working groups offer our members individual(!) specialist advice, e.g. in the following areas:

  • Tax law (e.g. tax exemption for ship chandlers)
  • Customs law (e.g. customs/export procedures/special features for ship chandlers)
  • Transit procedures (NCTS + EMCS)
  • Dangerous goods law (e.g. operational obligations)
  • Foreign trade/export control law (e.g. information + operational implementation)
  • AGB law (information on current case law)
  • Veterinary law (exceptions for ship chandlers)
  • Food law (exceptions for ship chandlers)

WGA Wholesale and Foreign Trade Association Hamburg e.V is an umbrella organization based in Hamburg and supports a wide range of trade associations, their members and individual companies from the wholesale and foreign trade sector in their day-to-day work in international trade.

ISSA is the international association representing nearly 2,000 ship suppliers throughout the world.
